Working for PER

Our people are talented and diverse and our culture is friendly and approachable with a good work-life balance.

We trust our people to do what they say they will do and reward their success. Our work can be stressful, so we encourage everyone to look after their personal wellbeing, using their holidays in full, keeping their evenings and weekends work-free unless it’s an emergency and looking after their health. We are quite a sporty bunch with passionate runners, cyclists, swimmers, equestrians and gym goers amongst us. Many of our team have young families, and home life is important.

During the working day, we focus on success, prioritising our time and working together to achieve the best outcome.  We have fantastic clients and a great variety of mandates to keep our people engaged and challenged.

We help our team grow as people as well as professionals with tailored training, coaching and mentoring programmes.  Our reward schemes are tailored to each person’s role and our profit share scheme is companywide.  We regularly get together as a company for off-sites in stimulating and interesting environments where the social aspect of coming together is as important as the work.

We encourage charitable giving and support all our team members in their personal endeavours to support others less fortunate than ourselves.

"As a senior consultant with a young family, it’s important that I can manage my day as efficiently as possible to deliver successful searches to our clients.  PER gives me the flexibility to manage my work load and home life in a way that balances my personal needs whilst still delivering excellent service to our clients."

Debbie Eidelman, Senior Consultant

We are always looking for experienced recruitment and search consultants who work in or around our core sectors and geographies, to join our team.

Our consultants work in small teams. "Having joined PER as an intern on the research programme, I gained valuable experience working within a professional environment, I also realised the importance of communication, both internally and externally.   I soon realised if I worked hard and took advantage of all the training offered to me, I would soon become employed as a permanent Research Analyst, which gave me the opportunity to give much greater input into roles, by identifying, screening and interviewing candidates.  I also began to have more interaction with clients and enjoyed the ‘treats’ offered by PER, which so far in my short career here have included, amongst other things, a night out at the Crystal Maze, fun at ping pong with my team mates and a trip to Bavaria."

"The best thing about interning at PER was being welcomed by a really friendly and supportive team.  You get to work on a variety of tasks and the work you do is very useful and valued.  The emphasis is on quality rather than quantity which means you get a high level of training throughout and not only do you get paid, you get a little extra holiday bonus at the end, which is very generous.  You also get to do a presentation to the MD on what you’ve learned, in turn you get some really helpful and useful career advice.  Can’t recommend interning at PER enough."

Philip Hughes, Research Intern

As a rapidly growing business, we regularly require exceptionally organised support staff to join our friendly team.

Behind the scenes there’s a hive of activity; our backstage people are often the first point of contact for everyone in our market. They really are the life-blood of our business enabling everyone else to perform.

So with roles from reception to marketing and everything in-between, we like to meet creative, diligent and passionate people who enjoy working in a collaborative environment with a great bunch of good-humoured colleagues.

"To be successful at PER you need passion and commitment, it helps you to do a good job here and makes you better at it, but more importantly you are rewarded well, including good pay, exciting team events, the occasional trip to the pub, but above all support by a great management team, I always feel valued by them.  Also, their support of my charitable moon walk was very humbling."
