We ask you to keep any details we give you about our clients and roles confidential and not disclose them to anyone else.
We collect the personal data that you volunteer to us whilst using our services, for example, when you apply to our roles online. We may also collect information from public sources such as LinkedIn or internet searches. We use this data to identify you when we have employment opportunities that might be relevant for you.
The data we hold might include some or all of the following: your contact details, academic achievements, work history, skills, nationality, languages, working rights, age and gender. We will also hold compensation details if you have provided them to us, as well as notes and commentary made after meeting you. Additionally, we keep a record of our contact history with you including progress on any roles that you have applied for or been selected for.
We retain the documents that you have provided to us such as your most recent CV, deal track-record, introductory letters, samples of written work and so on. We delete previous CVs that you might have provided to us.
PER is the Data Controller for your personal data. PER processes your personal data on the lawful basis of legitimate interest as a specialised recruiter for the private equity and private markets sector. It is stored on a secure, proprietary and confidential database which is only accessible by members of the PER Group of companies.
By providing PER with your personal data, you are giving your consent for PER to identify you and contact you about roles that may be relevant to you and provide other marketing information such as industry news and invitations to events.
You have the right to obtain access to your data record, to challenge the data that we hold about you and have the data erased, rectified or amended. Upon written request, we will provide you with a readable copy of your data record, although we may require proof of your identity and require 10 working days to provide the data.
You have the right to modify or deactivate your data record or have your data deleted at any time by updating your Data Preferences or contacting us at any time by email to DPO@PER-people.com
If you create an account on our MyPER we will hold your data record until you remove your consent for us to do so. By creating an account, you are giving your consent for PER to identify you and contact you about employment opportunities that may be relevant to you.
You have the right to deactivate your account or have your data removed from our database at any time by updating your Data Preferences.
When you deactivate your MyPER account, we will hold a data record for you but will not process it, nor will we contact you with information on current or future employment opportunities or with marketing materials. By deactivating your MyPER account / data record, you will also become inactive on any roles currently in progress. We cannot guarantee that we will not contact you again in the future through public data sources such as LinkedIn or internet searches.
You can reactivate your MyPER account / data record at any time by logging in to MyPER and providing your consent for us to process your data.
You can request us to delete all the data we hold on you at any time. Once your data has been deleted, we no longer hold a record of you. We cannot guarantee that we will not contact you again in the future through public data sources such as LinkedIn or internet searches.
Please allow ten working days for your data to be deleted. A record of your deletion request will be kept by our data administrators.
You can create a new MyPER account at any time by visiting our website.
We store your personal data on our secure, highly confidential database, which can only be accessed by PER group employees and consultants. All our employees and consultants, who have access to, and are associated with the processing of personal data, are obliged to respect the confidentiality of your personal data.
We have implemented security policies, rules and technical measures to protect the personal data that we have under our control from unauthorised access, improper use or disclosure, unauthorised modification and unlawful destruction or accidental loss.
We ensure that your personal data will not be disclosed to State institutions and authorities except if required by law or other regulation.
PER would never send unsolicited emails asking you to disclose your username and password or other security details.
PER will only provide personal data to third parties / our clients with your consent.
When providing third parties / our clients with personal data, we will request that they properly protect the security, confidentiality and processing of your personal data in accordance with all applicable laws.
PER may aggregate and anonymise personal data for industry or marketing reports or for statistical purposes.
